We’ve all heard of the number and it’s pretty controversial . The number represents the name of a man – a character that arrives on the world stage , powerful , charismatic. People say , ” Who is like this guy ? Who can fight against him ” ?
He is known as The Beast or The Anti-Christ. The word ANTI-CHRIST is more correctly translated as substitute Christ ; ie: a replacement of , or instead of or to pretend to be . In other words the False Christ or the False Messiah.
Some think Trump is the Anti-Christ . No – he’s not. He doesn’t have the correct credentials. The reason people think he is a candidate is because, he is boastful and , ‘through peace he will destroy many’. There’s also the matter of a 7 year covenant or peace treaty that he’ll broker or devise and firm up , a little while later. At the 1/2 way mark , 3 & 1/2 years in, he breaks the covenant and turns on the Jewish people. This is known as the 7 year tribulation , or the Time of Jacob’s trouble. The last 3 & 1/2 years are known as The Great Tribulation. ( Book of Daniel chapter 8 & 9 )
There’s different ideas about where this person comes from , what their lineage will be, but everyone pretty much agrees on what he’ll do. He is a totalitarian leader – he causes everyone both great & small, rich & poor, free & slave to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark – that is, the name of the beast or the number of it’s name. You can find this information in the book of Revelation chapter 13.
Revelation 13 v 18 ‘This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.’
He rises out of the midst of a committee of 10. The whole world thinks he’s great . Starts off good , doesn’t end well. Total control. Who could imagine a world where they could just turn off your bank account or trace your every move ? A world where even your spending was monitored and subject to State controlled permission. A world where food shortage was used to control people and a loaf of bread cost a days wages.
Trump is not the Anti-Christ in my opinion. Trump is not even the villain . He’s the distraction.
In 1976 this song , written by Larry Norman, became popular as events began to line up, suggesting that , the time was ripe for such a character to arrive on the scene.

Fast forward to 2025 and I think we can safely say , we’re closer now, than ever.
The surveillance, tracking & controls we allow for the sake of convenience and safety might just be the very tools that are used to make the world bow the knee.
