The Question on Everyone’s Lips : are we in the last days ? YES . Possibly in the last hours .

Recently, the word RAPTURE rated more highly on google search than Taylor Swift . Various social media platforms were lit up with people making videos around the dates of September 22-24 as the day that people found in relationship with Jesus Christ would be Raptured, caught up. The trumpet would sound and they would be caught up in the air to meet Jesus & thereby saved from the 7 year Tribulation – The Day Of The Lord – when God pours out His wrath on a Christ rejecting world. That’s quite a lot right ? Well here we go . Let me unpack that for you as best I can .

What happened on September 22-24 ? Not much . But directly after, the scoffers and mockers of the rapture &/or the people waiting , were pretty vocal in their derision of such .

‘No man knows the day or the hour’- was the phrase often repeated . Matthew 24:36

2025 is not over yet.

It says in Amos 3:7 ” God in His sovereignty & faithfulness, communicates His plans & intentions to humanity, through His chosen servants , the prophets , so they can understand & share His message’. I’m a fan of this scripture – And these ones Psalm 25:14 The LORD confides in those who fear Him & consider Him reverently with a humble heart; He makes His covenant known to them. Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. – James 4:8 Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.

The argument against these being the last days, is that every generation thought they were in the last days . Why should this generation think they’re any different from those? Our lives will come and go & everything will be as it always was. And the bible gives us a heads up that this is exactly what people will say. It says right here in 2 Peter 3 v 3-4 ‘Knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. 4 They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.”

There is so much evidence pointing to these days we are now living in being different from every other generation it’d take me a long time to point them all out . But here’s a short list .

1 .The rebirth of Israel back in the land – this started the clock ticking . Isaiah 66:8 ‘Who has heard of such as this? Who has seen such things? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be delivered in an instant? Yet as soon as Zion/ Jerusalem was in labor, she gave birth to her children.’ On May 14 in 1948, at the stroke of a pen , the modern State of Israel was born. In one day. In 70 years from that day Israel grew to become the 8th strongest economy in the world. The Hebrew language was resurrected & became the official language of the State of Israel. Jewish and Israeli technology, invention, medical & agricultural advancement , defence systems including intelligence is impressive to say the least & in many cases acknowledged as #1 worldwide. Not bad for born in a day.

2 . ‘Jerusalem will become a burdensome stone, a cup of trembling for all the nations’. Zechariah 12:2-3. Have you ever seen the whole world, so crazy over Israel & particularly Jerusalem ? For a city with no natural resources , no defining physical feature that would set it apart as desired , there sure are a lot of people who want to put their name on this place. The present international wrestling for control and dominance of Jerusalem is unmatched.

3 .This is the only generation who has the ability to blow up the whole earth . The proliferation of Nuclear Weapons distinguishes this generation from any other.

4 .The ability to surveil and subject all of humanity to a one world currency , religion and allegiance. With the inception of AI , biotech, Digital ID passports , the world banking system going exclusively online & the abolishing of fiat currency or cash, the total sham of elections, the prolific inception of deception through deep fakes , Chat GPT , Synthetic Intelligence, sentient computers, robots and the melding of man and machine for eg.Neurolink :- Yes I think you can safely say this generation is unlike any other. And there’s probably a few things I’ve missed in that list.

5. Bible Prophecy is being fulfilled before our very eyes. Everyday in the news we inch closer & closer to multiple bible prophecies coming to pass. It’s now a question of, not will they come to pass, but which one will drop first? Psalm 83 War ? Ezekiel 38-39 War ? 1Thessalonians 5:1-11 ? 1Thessalonians 4:16-18 ? and 1Corinthians 50-55 ? We are seeing nations that are described by their ancient names in the bible , who up until 7 or so years ago, have had little to do with each other , yet now they join together in defence agreements – ready for what exactly? Time will tell.
